For those traveling from out of state, the closest airport to Santa Ynez is Santa Barbara. It’s about a 40 minute drive from SBA and about a 2 to 2.5 hour drive from LAX. For those flying into LAX, we recommend an earlier arrival time to beat rush hour traffic.

GPS may route you along the 154 Highway from Santa Barbara to Santa Ynez/Solvang. While scenic, this mountain road can be somewhat challenging to drive, especially at night.

We recommend taking the 101 Freeway, especially in the evening.

We have a block of rooms for guests at Hotel Corque, a Marriott property. Situated in downtown Solvang, it is walking distance to multiple restaurants, wine tasting rooms, and boutiques. Our wedding venue, Santa Ynez Ranch, is about 15 minutes away and optional transportation will be provided from the hotel.

If you are in our bridal party, you will be staying at Hotel Ynez, a 22-room boutique hotel in Santa Ynez. This property is fully reserved for the bridal party and their guests. Hotel Ynez is a short drive or bike away from several wineries, downtown restaurants, and the Chumash Casino. Our wedding venue, Santa Ynez Ranch, is a 10-minute drive away.
